Question:
I can vouch for this one:http://www.castleofspirits.com/summerville2.html
I lived there for about 10 years and went to see the lights in late 1989. Checked it out the day after with no evidence of any ones being there the night before. Enjoy your story. Send me a copy!
There is “The Hookerman,” allegedly the ghost of a railroad worker (brakeman?) looking for his lost arm(s). The “spirit” walks along the railbed of the HIgh Bridge Branch in Flanders, NJ, where the track had been taken up.
The “ghost” manifests itself as a light moving along about waist height, supposedly that of the brakeman’s lantern as he searches for his severed arm.
I believe the story can be found at http://www.weirdnj.com, Weird NJ Magazine’s website.
