Are there any haunted tours near Birmingham or Coventry, England?
on January 1st, 2012 at 4:37 amPosted In: Ghost Hunting Questions
Question:
I’m from USA and will be visiting England this July. I was wondering if there are any great haunted tours, maybe even personal ghost tours at certain locations that aren’t too expensive around the areas of Birmingham and Coventry. And I’m not talking about places with fake props and people jumping out at you
Right now on Ebay

there’s not really, Birmingham is a big city, not like a creepy old village where you’d expect to have ghost hunts and things.. the only one I’ve ever heard of that’s close is dudley castle haunted tours.. Dudley is an area close to Birmingham.. I heard they’re pretty good. Also you’re coming to England and you’re gona go to Coventry?? why oh why it’s awful. Birmingham is good though so have fun : )
dudley castle is supposed to be haunted, its been on alot of shows because of it.
Also the “punchbowl” dining place is,
its just by the “welcome to birmingham” sign
hope you find something ;]
xx
Haven’t been on one in Birmingham myself but there is one held monthly according to one link I’ve seen. I fear it might be a bit of a cheese-fest from what I’ve read about previous Brummie ghost tours.
There’s also a Dudley Ghost Tour (town north-west of Birmingham) which again I cannot vouch for.
And Coventry Ghost Walk.
I’ll have to check all these out sometime.
The only ghost walk I’ve been on was in Cambridge. Very atmospheric but not within easy reach of the West Midlands. Whatever you do have fun!
