Battery Drain Is A Drag

Making sure your have spare batteries during a paranormal investigation is an incredibly important detail you do not want to overlook. One reason in particular for this is the phenomena known as battery drain. One of the predominant theories behind this is that spirits that attempt to manifest themselves draw energy from there surroundings.
This includes batteries for your ghost hunting equipment. It is not uncommon, and I have experienced this personally, that a digital camera reporting a fully charged battery will suddenly die leaving you scratching your head.
Remember, battery drain is a drag! So for the sake of either having to leave your investigation to buy more batteries, or having to stop it all together bring enough batteries to feed both the ghosts and your gear!

We are the S.H.I.T.
A group of five of us periodically ghost hunt as our interest in the paranormal is consistently increasing and most of us have experienced unexplained activity in our pasts. Last night the five of us visited two graveyards; one carried an energy about it that somehow made me want to stay extendedly. Four of us had cameras and one a recorder. I had bought a pack of 20 AA batteries and had them in my trunk earlier that day for this exact reason. Interstingly, EVERYONE’S batteries except for mine were drained at the first location. One of the four people replaced batteries with new ones but the camera still would not work indicating that there was no battery power. At the second location I was the only one with a camera that would work; however, I failed to pick up any orbs or other in the second location.
Here is the cool part…. upon arriving home everyone’s cameras worked fine when AGAIN replacing the batteries from the same pack. Unexplainable. We will return to the first location tonight again with fresh batteries. It was raining last night so we want to compare orb pictures to confirm or debunk possibilities of light reflection off rain and once again test battery experience.
