Question:
Ever since I was a kid I could always feel things moving around from a few feet or even rooms away. I could be sitting in the living room and feel something coming down the hallway and the stairs. I can’t really explain it, but you kind of feel it in your head. Like you can feel something moving and pinpoint the exact location kind of, do you know what I’m talking about? And like you sometimes feel it if someone is in the other room and moving around or if someone is walking up to you from behind, you know that feeling? Well sometimes I feel it when I am sitting at home alone like I feel something invisible walking around the room or next to me. It happens in public sometimes, but mostly at home. This has been happening since I can remember so I didn’t think anything of it.
The other day I was sitting down and I felt 3 small things flying around the room. Once again, I thought it just happens randomly and didn’t think anything of it. Then all of a sudden I felt one get really close to my face and fly by, and when it flew by, I felt a lot of wind hit my face like something invisible had flew by so I got up and ran upstairs. I went back down again later and then I felt something really tall coming from the top of the stairs. It was walking really fast and I was sitting on the couch and when I felt it right in front of me and it walked by, another crap load of wind hit me and the thing felt really tall like 7 feet and I felt it walk into the closet and 10 seconds after it did, I heard this really angry, loud growl/roar that came from the closet and echoed front the walls. My heart beat really fast and then I was thinking I was hearing things and 3 seconds later, It growls 3 more times and I freaked out and ran upstairs.
Does this feeling happen to you and is it normal? If so, does it happen randomly in a room sometimes like you can sense something invisible or only with people? When I feel things moving, are they likely these invisible entities because I think I may feel this randomly b/c my house is haunted.

I have been training in the martial arts and other things related (think police tactics) for 16 years. When you train in that sort of thing you gain an instinct about where people are and if someone is watching you. You can also have this type of instinct without training. I did myself, which is what made me get into that type of training. So I know the feelings you are talking about.
That said I do occasionally get those feelings and when I look there is no one there. Like I might be on a bus and it feels like someone is watching me from behind, but when I turn no one is sitting in any seats that are behind me. Or I may be sitting at my computer and it feels like someone is out in the hallway, but when I check there is no one there. Now most of the time when I get these feelings and no one is there, they stop as soon as I check them out, as such I believe they are simply caused by other natural things that may simulate the type of subconscious cues that we pick up when someone is watching us, walking close to us, or are moving in the next room, such as shifting air currents, unusual noises, alterations in how we are picking up sound waves (like someone walking between you and a TV or stereo).
Very rarely is it the case that I check out something like that and the sensation persists even after I’ve looked around. In those cases I usually get the hell out of the area as it’s likely I’m picking up something potentially dangerous, and my mind isn’t letting me ignore it. If it ends up being nothing, there’s no loss for me, but if I ignore it and it is something, it could be the last time I do.
A good book to read about that sort of thing is the Gift of Fear by Gavin De Beker:
http://www.amazon.com/Gift-Fear-Gavin-Becker/dp/0440508835/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267350375&sr=8-1
It talks about all these little cues that we naturally pick up on, which most people ignore.
Now your case is a bit different. And no it’s not normal in any shape or form. I don’t put much belief in the supernatural, but I have done a lot of research in to that type of thing, so at the same time I’m intelligent enough to be aware of the fact that there’s a whole lot out there that I and a lot of people don’t know about, so I allow that it’s possible, even if I’ve never seen it.
If you are a child (ages 1-17) living with your parents, you’re not going to be able to do much of anything about it, as no one is likely to believe you. If you are older, you should ask around various churches to see if someone can look around. They aren’t likely to believe you either, so it’s best to simply ask them to bless your house and each room. If they don’t do this sort of thing just invite them over for whatever reason and see if anything odd happens. If it does, then you can go into telling them about what you have been hearing and feeling, and see if they can help you out from there. They should be a lot more willing if they experience something weird themselves first. If nothing happens, then they aren’t likely to be able to help anyway, and you should move on to the next church, as if it’s some sort of malevolent spirit, they would react to the person’s presence if they felt any danger from them.
Another thing you can do is try to record some sort of evidence through video or sound recording. Whatever you do though, you should never try to directly communicate with anything like that. So much lore states that if you do, it can make it stronger. Check this link out:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouija
Now once again I don’t really believe in this stuff, but I am aware of the lore behind it, so there it is.
And then there is finally the possibility that it’s all in your head. You should check to see if your family suffers from any history of mental illness. If they do, find out what and do some research on it to see if that could be the cause, if you see that there is and it does, you need to get help. If your family doesn’t have that type of history you could still be mentally ill. As long as these things aren’t hurting you or making you do anything you wouldn’t normally do, you could simply try to ignore them, but if it becomes a problem or too distracting you should seek some sort of counseling, if the previous steps don’t work.
-Good luck

Whether it is real or not you must be scared to death. Talk to a psychiatrist AND a priest. That way you have your bases covered.

Familiar spirits most likely. Some people are far more in touch with them than others. You must be one of the very sensitive ones.
I myself have never felt such things, and I am not the least bit psychic. However, my mother seems to be able to grab information right out of the air. She “knows” things, like when one of her kids 8 miles away is hurting or in danger. She also “feels” things, impulses, people’s secrets, people’s pain, when someone is hiding something, when someone is lying –
You don’t have to put up with them if you don’t want them in your home. Order them to “leave in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.” Michael the Archangel did not dare to argue but said “the Lord rebuke thee Satan.” Jesus himself said “Get thee behind me Satan,” in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. And then ask God to replace them with His Holy Spirit and to keep your house clean, and to protect it. Same as on Passover.
