How can a ghost haunt more than one dwelling?

Question:
Okay, so I’ve read that Abe Lincoln and Ben Franklin are both said to haunt numerous different buildings. How can one spirit haunt multiple locations? Just curious.

  1. If it is a residual haunting, then they just keep playing out what they would have been doing in life. Totally unaware of our world going on around them. So, if they haunt more than one spot then the areas they haunt must have been places they frequented while alive. They just think they’re going about their normal tasks for the day, where ever that may take them.

  2. Ghosts fly from building to building. DUHHHH!

  3. Ghosts can attach themselves to certain objects that they had very strong feelings for and they can sometimes attach themselves to multiple objects. Or it could be a residual haunting where they are attached to a building because they did certain things there many times throughout their lives and part of their soul became attached to the building.

  4. Abe lincoln watches you masturbate in the lincoln bedroom.
