As a Christian, do you believe in the paranormal?
Also:
I watch Paranormal State. I often hear that what causes the activity is the “invitation”. Like making your own EVP’s etc. Do you think just watching it and reading about it, does the same thing?
I’m not sure if I believe in it, but I feel I don’t have enough evidence to say it isn’t true. Do you think it’s strictly psychological? Have you ever had an experience?
I dunno, just wanted to hear your thoughts on it, on this long and boring Sunday afternoon, lol.
Question:
For a while now, I’ve noticed strange things going on. I’ve always heard strange voices, things getting knocked down, strange shadows and sometimes a figure of a person out of the corner of my eye that’s not there. Recently, it’s gotten weirder. The voices are more direct to me. There was the usual old–female voice, kind of like my grandma’s, (whom i live with) but she’d not even be home. But a week ago it was a males voice who said “Come on in” When i was going pee. It sounded as if he was standing right at the door frame of the bathroom, (no one was home–the bathroom door was open) A few days later, my grandma was responding to a voice she only heard and then i asked, Who are you talking to? and she said I thought you were talking to me. We’ve always believed we had spirits in the house… but i think now there being more active. They contacting me in my dreams I believe. Even one time i woke up unable to move, basically paralyzed and was only able to move my head… I read up on that and it said it’s like a ghost on top of you holding the person down…. So what do you guys think?…
Question:
Okay, up to this time, I never thought ghosts were real. However, Friday night, I heard something at 1:30 am. What is sounded like was someone outside on our patio, then i heard someone messing with the door knob, then placing something down on our bar. After that it gets quiet, but then i hear something standing at my door and see a shadow. Then usually i just hear foot steps on the hardwood floor. Last night, the same thing happened as the night before, same time, too. The only thing different was that I heard something storming down my hallway, at one point. I know there isn’t physically a person in my house, because I told my parents last night, and we went through everything. No one else was in our house when we hear this, my parents say they hear stuff, too. However, they think it might be me walking around, but i never leave my room at night.
I need help what to do, I get so scared when I hear these things. I try to calm down, but I don’t know if the ghost is good, or bad. My legs start shaking very bad, then I get very warm and clammy. I know I’m not making this up, and that I’m not crazy..haha. So I’m just looking for anyway to help the ghost leave, i’ve had to go to bed at 2:30 ish for two days straight. Or any kind of advice of what to do.

I am currently watching Ghost Hunters (TAPS). I also watch A Haunting, 10 years ago MTV had a show called Fear, Ghost Lab, the ghost hunting show by the students of Penn State.
I really want to believe these shows, but I am having a hard believing these “findings”. Do any of you believe these shows? Can anyone point me to a way to really see if they are true findings? I want to see the movie The 4th Kind, but I am totally unsure as to whether to believe them or not. Any advice?

I recently went to Savannah, Georgia which is also known as America’s Most Haunted City. I took a ghost tour and it was really interesting and has made me think about ghosts and the supernatural. Do you believe? Why or why not? If you do, are you scared of ghosts?
