A thousand years of oppression can be felt in the passageways of the Jewish Quarter. Many years ago the Jews were granted permission by the Emperor to settle in a small area. We will walk back in time through the Jewish Quarter, segregated from the rest of the City. These narrow passageways reveal the secret of the Golem, Rabbi Loew, why only the children were dying of the Plague, and much more. Ghost enthusiasts and history buffs will enjoy our presentation of the Jewish Quarter. Nothing can prepare you for these areas of bizarre energy and uneasy feelings than this late NITE STALKER WALK.”
McGee’s Ghost Tours of Prague – Prague Castle After Dark
Jul 28th
As the crowds thin and twilight descends, the lantern illuminates our journey. Starting from the Old Town Square we wander through streets rich in history, architecture, and legends. Other day tours stuff travellers into the same standard tour routes; these are big groups with a guide you can’t hear. We visit the castle in the evening, when it is empty and peaceful. Also, we will not be standing in long lines. Kings and Queens enjoyed these areas in their tranquility, and so will we! We’ll visit the Monastery where monks brewed the holy beer for the King. We’ll stroll at a leisurely pace through the Palace, Golden Lane, the Castle Prisons, Kings Vineyard Charles Bridge and other ancient enchanting landmarks. We’ll sip a drink in a medieval tavern. Our tour offers a mixture of facts, mysteries and legends to entertain and inform. Compare the legends and the true stories for historical accuracy and cultural significance.
