Question:
We are starting a haunted adventure business in April of 2010 that will take our guests to numerous haunted locations where they can explore them. They will also learn some basic ghost hunting skills from our 15+ year veteran paranormal investigators who happen to also be the owners of the company.
This is some further details that I forgot to include. These haunted adventures vary from a one day tour to a week long vacation staying in haunted hotels plus going to the locations I mentioned earlier. The local tour/adventures are held in Washington State and the longer adventures vary starting in Washington State traveling also through Oregon ending in California. The other also starts in Washington traveling through Idaho, ending in Montana. These adventures are not ghost walks where you can only hear about the haunted locations but in most cases our guests will get to explore to try and capture paranormal activity. In some cases the place we go may have a guided tour but that does not stop you from taking photos, using your camcorder or doing audio recordings to try to get an evp or two.

Ok, so this happened around 8 months ago but I never really thought to look into it. I’m not a very spiritual person and I am unsure about ghosts and the like.
Anyway, I was alone in the house and it was dusk. I was going downstairs, and from the top of the stairs I could see outside the front door (it’s made of clear glass) when I saw this shadow man thing wearing a hat and a long coat.

It looked exactly like that image and was just standing there doing nothing. No knock at the door. Nothing.
Needless to say I ran back upstiars and hid under the covers shaking until my parents got home 
Has anyone else had any encounters with the mysterious shadow man?

What is your experience with ghosts, spirits or shadow people? I have had an experience with a shadow figure. At the time this happend i never ever heard of shadow people. I was sleeping and i woke up at 4 am, The ligths in my room and hallway were turned on and my door was open, al this happend when i was asleep, i felt sick for some reason and i had the feeling that there was another person in the room and i watched the wall and i saw a hooded figure floating on my wall, it went to the hallway and it came back trough the corner of my room, i was 10 or 11 years old so i was scared to death. At a certain moment it stopped and i didnt sleep that nigth because i was scared that the shadow men would come back.

In 1977, Second Officer Leonard Bishop for the SS Winterhaven was asked by a seemingly visiting British captain for a tour of his ship. Bishop happily obliged taking the bearded gentlemen through the bridge and down to the engine room, but when he was asked to resume his duties, he turned to apologize to his guest who had all but vanished. Crew searched the engine room for the elderly man, thinking he had wandered off, but no one was ever found. In reflection, Bishop only recalled the man’s passive worn voice and his attention to detail. Years later, he recognized a picture of Captain Edward J. Smith from the Titanic as his guest.
Question:
Why is it we don’t teach kids in middle school or high school in why ghosts and whatever are not real? Is it because we don’t want to anger believers? Because ghosts, shadow people, greys and all that mumbo jumbo is bull crap to anyone with common sense.
All those folks claiming they seen ghosts? 90% of them are lairs. The rest likely suffer or experienced Hypnagogia. A condition where you wake up during sleep. Technically you’re brain is still asleep but you are awake. For example: you can that you’re in your bedroom. Since you’re asleep you can basically “conjure” images you would find in your dreams into your very own bedroom. I had this experience once and I invoked/conjured whatever a shadow person like entity in my bedroom.
Ghosts and other supernatural things are easily explainable, why is it we don’t teach folks? We’re living in the 21st century and we still got freaking superstitious people with ridiculous beliefs.

When I’m walking around my house and there are no lights on i look into the shadows and it looks like there is an outline of a person (in that one area) . It looks like a normal 6 ft man (or woman). And it looks like that person is looking right at me when i look at it. Everywhere i look into a dark spot i see a shadowly outline. What could this mean? I’ve had one ghost experience in the past (look at my latest question “Am i psychic???” and read it. you will know wat im talking about) anyway i see that
shadow person and im afraid to go into the darkness alone because im afraid that they might hurt me. What should i do? should i try and communicate with them? I just started seeing them recently. and could they follow me like to a friends house or something?

I’ve read so many stories from people who’ve experienced paranormal “phenomena” and have seen supernatural creatures. The thing they all have in common is that despite how scared the person is, the creature hasn’t hurt him/her. Am I the only person who realizes this? Why is everyone so scared of these supernatural beings if they rarely hurt us people?

alot of my fiends say that they saw a person that was tall and wearing all black. they say that he was wearing a long black leather drench coat with a black hat. he looks like a shadow almost. my friend from california said that she saw that person but he was just staring at an other girl on a bunk bed at night. an other girl that told me that she saw him was that he was in her room and that he would just staring at her. one time i saw it walk through my hallway at night, but maybe it was just me lol. pretty much every body that i kkno would say that they saw that man that were teenagers. i dont know what it is or if it reall. someone give me some answers please.
