Question:
Ok, so this happened around 8 months ago but I never really thought to look into it. I’m not a very spiritual person and I am unsure about ghosts and the like.
Anyway, I was alone in the house and it was dusk. I was going downstairs, and from the top of the stairs I could see outside the front door (it’s made of clear glass) when I saw this shadow man thing wearing a hat and a long coat.

It looked exactly like that image and was just standing there doing nothing. No knock at the door. Nothing.
Needless to say I ran back upstiars and hid under the covers shaking until my parents got home 
Has anyone else had any encounters with the mysterious shadow man?

It seems like every person who believes in that superstitious nonsense sees their own kinds of “paranormal phenomena.”
When people claim that other people have seen the same things, it’s almost always their family member, who would obviously be prone to the same genetic chemical imbalance that would allow such a gross misinterpretation of reality.
I just saw three ghosts playing hackey sack in my front yard! Never mind that my mom is slowly going insane from schizophrenia… these must be real! Now let me grab my camera and… oh, they’re mysteriously gone now. Spooky!
The people who aren’t family members merely listen to the description of the “paranormal” being given to them from person number one, and nod slowly as they’re struggling to remember how to breathe. Your description of that shadow makes me think it’s a spirit too! And it’s the same one I saw! HURF DURF
If everyone sees something completely different from one another, and people believe in such completely different things while ridiculing ones they don’t believe in, doesn’t it become mind-numblingly obvious that nothing supernatural exists?
Why doesn’t anyone ever capture a poltergeist on film? Why haven’t they captured a “cat spirit” in a Ghostbusters vacuum? Could it be the fact that humans simply have extremely vivid imaginations?
Is it not an obvious fact that since no proof of anything supernatural has ever been demonstrated, that it’s only logical for a sane, critical-thinking person to assume that nothing supernatural exists?
They have, they have, they have! Normally when someone makes a claim as ridiculous as this, they back it up with evidence.

What is your experience with ghosts, spirits or shadow people? I have had an experience with a shadow figure. At the time this happend i never ever heard of shadow people. I was sleeping and i woke up at 4 am, The ligths in my room and hallway were turned on and my door was open, al this happend when i was asleep, i felt sick for some reason and i had the feeling that there was another person in the room and i watched the wall and i saw a hooded figure floating on my wall, it went to the hallway and it came back trough the corner of my room, i was 10 or 11 years old so i was scared to death. At a certain moment it stopped and i didnt sleep that nigth because i was scared that the shadow men would come back.

So a couple of nights ago I woke up at about 4:30 am? And when I opened my eyes I looked at my door and their I saw a shadow like person…My first thought was of someone…But idk why that person? Then I blinked a couple of times and it disappeared, I think It has something to do with this one boy…But I don’t know, he moved to a new school and all, and I haven’t seen him since. I regret not saying bye or anything, maybe I should just move on? I felt a relief because maybe it WAS him? Maybe it was all a dream? But It felt so real!

Question:
When I’m walking around my house and there are no lights on i look into the shadows and it looks like there is an outline of a person (in that one area) . It looks like a normal 6 ft man (or woman). And it looks like that person is looking right at me when i look at it. Everywhere i look into a dark spot i see a shadowly outline. What could this mean? I’ve had one ghost experience in the past (look at my latest question “Am i psychic???” and read it. you will know wat im talking about) anyway i see that
shadow person and im afraid to go into the darkness alone because im afraid that they might hurt me. What should i do? should i try and communicate with them? I just started seeing them recently. and could they follow me like to a friends house or something?

Question:
As I was having difficulty falling asleep last night. I was looking at the walls and I saw what looked like a dogs shadow move across the wall. I sleep in the living on the floor with an air mattress and there are two glass doors that are at the south side of the house.
Outside the glass doors theres a deck that goes 20ft from the ground and the neighbors back porch light shines up towards the balcony and you can see the wooden blocks of the deck illuminated towards the living room wall where I sleep.
I know this because usually I let my dog sleep outside on the porch when it isnt too cold outside. I used to see his shadow on the walls the same way I saw the shadow last night, so I know that you have to be in a certain area/place to have the shadow appear.
It was three am on the clock exactly and I looked at the walls and saw partially the back and behind that was walking on the porch and it looked the behind of a dog. Only I looked out on the porch and nothing was there..
Me neighbors werent outside and you have to make a little noise to walk up and down the porch becuase the stairs creak. This freaked me out big time.
I dont think i went to sleep til 4 am? Of course this wasnt without the night lights on.
Any ideas on what shadow creatures are? I dont think is was a shadow person, namely because I dont know any ghosts or shadow people that crawl on the ground with animal skins (joke).
It wasnt an animal. The light shines by my neighbors light through the wooden columns on my deck that is..
20 ft high! and you would have to be on the deck OUTSIDE the door OR inside the room with me!
IMMEDIATELY after I saw this shadow i looked on the deck and nothing was there! It takes time for an animal to walk down the steps onto the ground outside and plus there was no noise when it walked away!

When I was little I used to see shadow people. (Jeez I feel like the kid on 6th sense). They looked like people, just all black, like a living shadow. I can’t say for sure when it started or when I stopped seeing them, but i think I remember seeing them between the ages of 4 and 7. I’m 19 now and I have gotten glimpses of them a few times over the years, but it’s nothing like it was when I was little. I have seen them in dreams, incredibly VIVID dreams. And I really FEEL them. It’s terrifying. I feel like I’m awake because my everything looks so clear and I can feel and hear everything. There’s usually only 1
shadow person in these dreams, and they’re always trying to hurt me. I’m actually almost afraid to talk about it because a part of me feels that it’ll actually happen if I talk about it, or this person is real and they’re watching me type this, just waiting to attack, or atleast I’ll have another nightmare. That souds rediculous, but I feel that way. Havign another nightmare is the most likely to happen. It’s actually been a while since I’ve had these dreams, thankfully, but I still want some sort of explanation for all of this. When I was little I thought I was supposed to see the shadow people, but I was afraid to talk about them. I though everyone saw them though. As I got older and realized others didn’t see them. Anyway, I’m just wondering if anyone might have some insight into what all this might be about, because I don’t understand any of it. I’ve never been diagnosed with anything but anxiety. I’ve never told anybody about this but a couple of freinds, who happen to be superstitous and think the shadow people were ghost. I’m not comfortable with that explanation.

Recently, my grandmother died, the night after she passed away, I had seen a
shadow person, large black, roughly 7 feet tall, I saw it very vividly as well for properly more than minute. I wonder if this could have been the spirit of my grandmother. What do you think? Have you had a similar experience? What was it like? I was kinda thinking it was like a Grim Reaper type thing but I saw it after her passing. I’d love any information on this. Thanks!!

I was visited by a
shadow person about 2 weeks ago,first night was just a mist in the corner then fled,second night a full body apparition wearing a cloak, appeared at my bedside,poked my leg(had scabs there next day)said my name,then fled. Anybody with experience with shadow people or ghost please comment.
