Question:
It’s an old, abandoned, tuberculosis hospital. It is considered a very haunted location. I am going next month for a tour. Have you gone there? How was your experience?
Spend 5 minutes with Chris Fleming talking about how ghost hunting and paranormal investigating can be fun, but it can also be dangerous. Be informed. Be aware. Be educated. For more information go to DangersoftheParanormal.com or MySpace.com/dangersoftheparanormal
Question:
This is in my top 10 of stupidest “documentaries” I’ve ever seen.
Ask me anything.
-EVP?: possible radio waves
-Hearing someone behind you in tunnel?: anecdotal but also feasibly reverberations from one own’s voice, footsteps, and breathing.
All the photos shown?: easily faked
Stories?: Again, anecdotal but with so many inconsistencies even among the “witnesses” in the program itself (e.g., nurse who hung herself–no correct date and even the TAPS team who collected county records didn’t find a suicide)
This program was SO overdone it plays quite untrue. The historical evidence and the great pictures of that time period would have been a better presentation. The owners have obvious motives to say/play things up, as do their employees.
Any other personal experiences can easily be chalked up to one’s own mind tricks (imagination).
The Ghost Hunters investigation was much better done, and even that is biased, this IS entertainment folks.

I made this video from photographs I had taken on a ghost hunting trip in August 2008. The music is by a good friend of mine, Figmentius – so turn up the volume to get the full effect. I think this really captures the spookiness of this huge abandoned hospital.
Question:
So who has been to Waverly Hills?
It is in the top 10 for The most Haunted Location in the world, and in the USA.
Tina Mattingly the owner of Waverly Hills is now trying to restore its beauty to make it into a Haunted Hotel, and she’s using every last cent of tour money, over nights, and half nights to save this piece of art and a piece of our History.
Waverly Hills was first a nursing home, then a TB hospital. If you go the site there are pictures from back in the day showing operations, and a detailed typed out forum telling you what is happening..
So have you ever been here before?
Would you go?
$20.00 Tour per person, $50.00 half a night per person, $100.00 full run of waverly per person.
