What are some good haunted places to visit in South Jersey or Philadelphia?

Question:
Places should be open to the public and have a strong history of activity. Please give specific locations and addresses if possible.

Thanks

  1. i know there’s an old insane asylum somewhere in the city…i remember looking at pics of it on phillyskyline.com

if you go to that website you’ll be able to find it…i believe it’s around a shitty area though

fort mifflin, by the philadelphia international airport.

  4. lemon hill cemetary- kelly drive and hunting park avenue
eastern state penitentiary- 22nd street and fairmount avenue
the mutter museum- 22nd street and chestnut street
north philadelphia- you know where, if you go, be prepared to be very very very scared, don’t pack a lunchbox either.

  5. Eastern State Penitentiary has a halloween hauted house, which can be fun, but also has tours throughout the year of its historic background.
Check out the website : http://www.easternstate.org

Terribly sorry, but there aren’t any haunted places in either locale.

You can also go into the Pine Barrens in South Jersey to try and find the birth place of the Jersey Devil. I think it’s called Blue Hole or something. There is no address :) but I’m sure you can find info online.

  8. Check out Paranormal Spirits Group Philadelphia — a small group of ghost investigators including a psychic who will go to a hunt with you if invited!!
